Behaviour

Help for the moments that worry you most.

The lunge on lead. The bark at the door. The dog who can't settle. Behaviour support that's calm, ethical and grounded in what we actually know about how dogs learn.

My promise

Force-free, evidence-based, no judgement

Living with a dog who's struggling is hard, lonely and often quietly upsetting. The first thing I want you to know is: it's not your fault, and you're not the first person to ask for help.

I work with positive-reinforcement methods only. No pinch collars, no e-collars, no shouting your dog into compliance. Just clear plans, kind handling, and a real understanding of what your dog is trying to tell us.

What I help with

Common things owners come to me for

On walks

  • Lunging or barking at other dogs
  • Reacting to people, bikes or vehicles
  • Lead-pulling and arousal
  • Recall that falls apart in real life

At home

  • Struggling to settle or sleep
  • Resource guarding (food, toys, places)
  • Visitor and doorbell barking
  • Multi-dog tension

About the world

  • Separation-related distress
  • Fear of fireworks, traffic, vets
  • Confidence after a tough start
  • Settling a newly adopted dog
How a consult works

A gentle, structured way to make progress

  1. Detailed enquiry

You fill me in on the full picture — history, household, what triggers what.

  2. Vet check

For most behaviour cases I'll ask you to check in with your vet first, to rule out pain or medical contributors.

  3. Initial consult

An in-depth session (in-home or virtual) to assess and build a plan around your dog's specific needs.

  4. Follow-ups

Practical follow-up sessions to coach you through the plan, with adjustments as your dog progresses.

Behaviour work often follows a vet referral. Happy to liaise with your vet if helpful.

Things will get better.

Get in touch and let's talk through what's going on — no commitment, no judgement.
