Behaviour

Help for the moments that have you at your wits' end!

Fears and phobias, reactivity, separation anxiety — behaviour support that's calm, ethical and grounded in what we actually know about how dogs learn.

My promise

Reward-based, evidence-based, no judgement

Living with a dog who's struggling is hard, lonely and often stressful or upsetting.

I work with positive-reinforcement methods, clear plans, kind handling, and a real understanding of what your dog is trying to tell us.

How a consult works

A considered, structured way to make progress

  1. Detailed enquiry

You fill me in on the full picture — medical, your dog's history, household, routines, and what triggers what behaviour.

  2. Vet check

For most behaviour cases I'll ask you to check in with your vet first, to rule out pain or medical contributors.

  3. Initial consult

An in-depth session (usually at your home, sometimes by telephone) to assess and build a plan around your dog's specific needs — showing you how and what to put in place to help your dog.

  4. Follow-ups

If required, further practical follow-up sessions to coach you through the plan, with adjustments as your dog progresses.

Behaviour work often follows a vet referral. Happy to liaise with your vet throughout the process.
